When our group of seven friends started planning a trip to China, we knew we wanted more than just famous landmarks. We wanted to experience different sides of the country—from modern cities to breathtaking mountains, local culture, and authentic food.
After searching online, we found PR China Travel, and they helped us put together a 12-day itinerary covering Guangzhou, Zhangjiajie, Chongqing, and Shanghai. Looking back, it was one of the best travel decisions we made.
Guangzhou was our first stop after arriving in China. The airport pickup was smooth, and our driver was already waiting when we landed. Everything was well organized, so we didn't have to worry about transportation after a long flight.
We explored the city's modern skyline, walked through historic neighborhoods, and tried Cantonese cuisine for the first time. Dim sum quickly became everyone's favorite.
Our guide was friendly, spoke excellent English, and shared plenty of local stories that made the city much more interesting than simply visiting attractions.
If there was one destination that completely amazed our group, it was Zhangjiajie.
The towering sandstone peaks looked even more incredible than the photos online. Walking through Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, riding the Bailong Elevator, and standing on the famous Glass Bridge were unforgettable experiences.
Our guide carefully planned the sightseeing schedule to avoid the busiest times whenever possible, which made the experience much more enjoyable.
The hotel was comfortable, clean, and conveniently located, making it easy to relax after long sightseeing days.
Chongqing surprised all of us.
The city has an energy unlike anywhere else we've visited. Between the dramatic skyline, steep streets, rivers, and incredible night views, it felt exciting from morning until late evening.
Of course, we couldn't leave without trying authentic Chongqing hot pot. It was spicy, but definitely worth it.
Our private vehicle made getting around the city much easier, especially with seven people traveling together.
Shanghai was the perfect place to end our journey.
Walking along the Bund at night, seeing the futuristic skyline of Pudong, exploring charming streets, and shopping in the city gave us a completely different impression of China compared with our previous destinations.
It perfectly combined history and modern life.
Traveling with seven people can sometimes be complicated, but everything throughout the trip went very smoothly.

China is an incredibly diverse country. In just 12 days, we experienced modern cities, ancient culture, spectacular mountains, delicious food, and unforgettable scenery.
